Freemans Grattan Holdings
In the spring of 1912 John Enrico Fattorini, the grandson of an Italian immigrant jeweller living in Bradford, made a life-changing decision. He gave up a successful career in the family firm and launched an exciting, dynamic new business; an agency mail order company that gave the people of Yorkshire the opportunity to shop for a range of goods, shoes, and watches from their own homes via a network of agents. Freemans was founded in London in 1905. Today Freemans Grattan Holdings is at the heart of home shopping in the United Kingdom.

There have been many changes at the company over the years. The two giants of the mail order sector, Freemans and Grattan, merged in 1999, having been bought by Otto Versand, the worlds largest Home Shopping Retailer. Since then a family of home shopping brands has been developed, including Bon Prix, Kaleidoscope, Curvissa, Swimwear365, Witt and Look Again. Over the years the Company has successfully adapted to the challenges of a rapidly changing market, embracing new consumer fashions and new technologies. Today the internet is at the core of the business.
In January 2013 the Company moved it’s Head Office location from Ingleby Road to a much more modern environment in Vicar Lane, Little Germany. The Company also has a Warehouse at Listerhills, Thornton Road.
